ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Grantee: North Missoula Community Development Corporation Address: 1500 Burns St. Missoula, MT 59802 Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of Lee Gordon Place, a seven unit townhome project, will be received by The North Missoula Community Development Corporation at the offices of their architect, Hoffmann Morgan & Associates, located at 265 West Front St., Missoula, MT 59802, until 2:00 P.M. on October 31, 2017. The contract is being funded with federal funds through the Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) administered by the Montana Department of Commerce, and is subject to all federal laws and regulations as specified under the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act of 1990 [Public Law 101-625], as amended by Title II of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 [Public Law 102-550 (HR 5334, October 28, 1992)]. Section 3 Public Notice North Missoula Community Development Corporation (NMCDC) has received Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). NMCDC will soon commence the construction of Lee Gordon Place at 503 E Front St., an affordable housing development with 7 units of permanent homeowner housing for low and moderate income households. CDBG and HOME Section 3 regulations governing the grant require that NMCDC ensures that employment and other economic opportunities generated by this project shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing. Further, to the greatest extent feasible, business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area and minority or women owned businesses are encouraged to be utilized.
